I just browsed over this and saw some very interesting titles. Many of the sci-fi titles brought back fond memories. These days I find myself watching sci-fi on TV more than reading books. Time...
But I do have an impressive store of reference and scholarly books. One that I'm reading now, if anyone happens to be interested in ancient Roman religion (that is, pagan beliefs and practices of the ancient Romans):
John Ferguson, The Religions of the Roman Empire.
I find it a good blend of readability and detail. It's not fluff nor is it hard core Oxford style (actually, Oxford is putting out some very weak stuff these days... getting desperate in the internet age and dumbing things down). So I should say, not classic Oxford style. This book is somewhere in the middle. Should be in most libraries, secondhand booksellers, etc.
Another book I'm reading, not only because I'm Christian, is the Catholic Bible with notes:
The New American Bible.
The Old Testament is a fascinating work if you just take your time. I read a little bit, every once in a while. When I'm in the mood, it's great. The Catholic Bible has more books than the Protestant Bible. Tobit deals with angels. And there's another one about Wisdom personified as a woman. Protestants axed those books for some reason...

Hello bibliophiles! I advise everyone to read this book
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B094NMRWPJ. This is a political thriller. I guess that this novel may seem interesting to many.
