Hi

Is the use of dictionaries supported in k-meleon (for example within the little editor window of that forum)?

which dictionaries are to be installed (myspell, hunspell, or different)?

how to start them (controll at writing time) and commute the language from English to German to French etc?

I did see at the site of kompoZer, also a xulrunner oriented software, that kompoZer offers a collection of SMALL dictionaries (excepted for German and Dutch: they are heavy, differently from Firefox: here the German dictionary is small and the French one very heavy!). As I will include my dictionaries for precedent languages in my Linux ISO yet heavy because of wine, and as wish only a minimal controll of spell, it would be better don't to have to select a pre-defined version but to be free to include each small version that I want all that stuff need a lot of Mbytes if I don't take care how big they are...

kind regards

old KM 1.6-1.7 supported spellchecking through kplugin and was able to use any dictionaries made as ".aff and .dic pairs".

New K-Meleon cannot check spelling at this time.
