Yes, there's lots of happy XP users here, I know - so I hope someone will get some good use from this info.
(It is not very useful for me as I use no win stuff newer than XP SP2 by choice.)
If anyone has done this with good success in XP SP2 I'll greatly appreciate if you'll share your success & method you used, please ??
Meantime, I'll stick with what I've got & maybe consider adding Gavotte RAMdisk to an offline only, pure old XP box that we have.

Of course since I am also a great lover of Linux & the use of VMs, none of this is really any problem as Linux has no such limitations & when using VMs of XP it is trivial to avoid problems with demanding apps.
