You can download MyPal, New Moon, Basilisk and similar browsers based on the same Goanna from their respective MSFN.org board threads.

No idea if you have SP3 or not - I never got it due to my objections regarding some changes it makes.
(I am also no longer much of a windows user anymore.)

BUT:
I still use Mypal 27.8.3 (32 bit) every day just as I did with XP SP2.
It is quicker & lighter on resources than any of the newer versions of it that I tried.

It also runs very well under Linux via WINE - which is how I'm using it right this minute.

It is very easy to get, open & try out.
No idea at which point he changed its innards & for things like YT I now use Basilisk directly under Linux.
Palemoon is OK & I use it a little bit - but Basilisk is way better & a descendant of it.

no longer supports XP - last version of PM that supported XP was 26.5

use MyPal or New Moon instead

Nevermind, looks like bookmarklets don't like certain way to be executed...


It comes handy that you bump this thread right now, I was going to start a new thread, but, if roytam reads this, or anyone else using NewMoon know... does it have any problem running bookmarlets (this is a URI like (javascript:alert('hello'))?

Looks like NewMoon has this problem, as My Pal had, and I don't know if Palemoon has it too.

I was trying to switch all GDPR consents off via a bookmarklet and I found that the (any, actually) bookmarklet just replaces the page content :-?

Not to mention that the above example with an alert, doesn't replace the page content, but it doesn't display any alert either...

Yes, and some more info for other people trying to run Pale Moon on Windows XP.

Pale Moon: the official browser which no longer supports 2000, XP, Server 2003, or Vista.
New Moon: unofficial port of Pale Moon to XP by roytam who does the awesome work on K-Meleon's rendering engine.
Mypal: unofficial port of Pale Moon to XP by Feodor that is (unfortunately) no longer maintained. Edit: see below VVV

Why not updating XP to SP3 then? it is advantageous and give XP more support?

SP3 gives me more headaches on my system.
