In case any other Linux user here has always missed the old, genuine Explorer...
Our great contributer Panzer found & shared this goody today:

The download from it is a zip file and here is how I'm using the contents:
After unzipping delete all except for abz2.dll winfile.exe zip.dll zlib1.dll.
The (on my PC) WINE easily opens winfile.exe.
I then used Wine Launcher Creator to get a desktop launcher for it.
