Is there any option to disable Autoplay and autostart on youtube?

I bet this is..., but anyway.

YouTube interface already offers an option at top right.

It wont work. All the time when i open youtube, autoplay is on.

You must allow cookies, so the preference is saved to your browser, obviously

Just erase your history from chrome it'll be all set.

Yes as the other's said you must change it in your settings, it is linked to the cookies too.
But it is possible. For sure because sometimes it didn't autoplay at my computer, but I didn't pay attention how or why...
It also depends on the device you're watching it with. Just turn teh slider off, so that it's not blue anymore. You can do the same on your tablet or laptop.

I guess they added this possibilty, because it wasn't always like that...
Anyways that's a possibilty, teh easiest one.

does not work anymore in K-meleon (not even with the K-meleon Goanna builds)
Google kept changing stuff with the youtube site and so it autoplays in KM lately

that is not very reassuring though
google searches sometimes do not come up with any new info on how to disable autoplay/autostart on YT in KM

I know that in the app you can go to your profile in the setting, then click on playback time. Then a window should have opened where you see how much you watch on average per day or in the last 7 days. At the bottom of this page are tools you can manage and one of them is autoplay.
