Some menu items in KM75.1/76.0 weren't aline at the left on Windows XP SP3,but normal on Windows 7 system:
At the beginning, this issue only occurs on Windows XP system, and Dorian said it's a weird behavior of Windows which is hard to track when we don't have the source code.He tried to make a specific implementation for XP,but no effect. On the contrary, the problem occurs on Windows 7 too from K-Meleon 76Beta3Update1.Come up with this again to see whether roytam1 will find a solution!
It actually happens in Win10 build 1703 CBB as well.
maybe we can insert transparent icon for menu entries that doesn't have an icon to workaround it.
Hi roytam1,did you try what you have in mind, and was that effective?

Chanson YuAnd how about adding the
pdf.js to K-Meleon by default? I usually open PDF files with Firefox, because KM can't handle this. What do you think?
Maybe it would be better to do it as an optional extension in the style of
Moon PDF Viewer (which I think does not work with the latest versions of Pale Moon).
Also, Mozilla has been considering the idea of abandoning its PDF viewer and replacing it with Chromium viewer (see the
Mortar Project). I do not know if
PDFium is better or worse than the viewer that Firefox has by default but it is there for those who want to make the appropriate comparisons.
Download
MoonPDFViewer@Off.JustOff.xpi from somewhere.
Replace text in install.rdf with code, save, place
MoonPDFViewer@Off.JustOff.xpi to install dir of this /name of this testbuild/browser/extensions and test:
(I cannot put my altered version of XPI here. Too big.)
Thanks guenter,I have tried the MoonPDFViewer and it works on KM-Goanna.But it doesn't use the latest pdf.js sources,so some PDF files can't be opened with it.

@roytam1
1.Context Menu in the textarea of a page is abnormal, the right situation is right-click menu should be different when you selecting texts, but it's same in the latest KM-Goanna.
2.I don't know whether you are using the Flash Player to play web videos, because nobody have reported that Flash Plugin can't work with the default settings. You must set the
dom.ipc.plugins.enabled.npswf32.dll to
false,then it will work.

There really is not right menu. If unselected the text in <textarea> all right.
But when text is selected, menu should allow to cut it, and also translate. However, menu does not change and remains with a spell check (as on first screenshot).

fully default.
Can you give a specific example where there is a problem?

Thank you @Rodocop!
One thing, I'm unable to open this page:
https://elpais.com/ with KM-Goanna. I tried everything I have learnt here in this forum with no sucess at all and sincerely I can't understand why. Some errors 804b000c are shown at below left side of the page while loading, then KM gets slower than a snail and then crash. The page opens well with KM76rc2pro by @Rodocop and KM76rc2 portable normal (best loading time goes to KM 75.1 portable).

Just try to update KM-Goanna.
I've opened it easy and quickly without any errors.
(That strange 804b000c are shown in Goanna frequently but they are not crucial. It is better to fix this but I don't know what is reason. Some Firefoxes were seen in producing the same errors but every time it was solved by the version update.)

Sorry for the delay @Hermes and @Rodocop: problem solved after disabling automatically management of memory cache and setting it to 64Mb (no problem if disk cache enabled). :s
* Probably this amount of memory cache can be increased in good computers.
** I meant to load the entire page with no blocking patterns.

Baidu Music and

Ok, @Hermes pointed in the right direction about something at the OS, and the culprit has been finally found: the antivirus installed in the system (I don't put its name to avoid spam). Thank you both again @Hermes and @Rodocop.
Re: [TEST] KM76-Goanna 3.4.1 (Build 20171223) / flash video rewrite pref
Date: December 31, 2017 01:07PM
Not sure if that's still a youtube flash-video embedded there (new date?), but you can test if it helps to manually add this new pref?
pref("
plugins.rewrite_youtube_embeds", true);
Was wondering about it when discovering that roytam added it to github a few days ago, so at the moment it's probably not yet contained in current build1223:
https://github.com/roytam1/kmeleon/blob/9ccc60dfdfbc9ad9db8ad901f67231cceba6d01f/goanna-gre-prefs.diff
Then googled and found this explanation:
https://www.ghacks.net/2016/01/16/firefox-to-convert-old-youtube-flash-code-to-html5-video/
That pref was added by Mozilla to Firefox 46, then obviously in Palemoon too.
Good thing, it updates youtube-FLASH-code on 3rd party sites (
in embedded frames) to todays youtube-html5 syntax. But only if the browser has flash blocked or not available at all anymore. Without this redirect, tons of old flash-video-links would be broken and only give an error about missing flash plugin.

facebook uses features heavily depending on browsers' user agent string.
palemoon people are mad on changing user agent override because of this.
for forcing facebook using html5 video player, add this in about:config
general.useragent.override.facebook.com = Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:99.9) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/99.9 (Pale Moon)

Is someone collecting these about;config tweaks for future versions?
I think all these solutions should be included or collected to be merged.
Offtopic: I remember my experiments with Firefox/999 some time ago with the help of @Siria.

I tested with a spoofed UserAgent already before posting here.
(spoofed through useragent.kmm + useragent.js)
You can see the result
here
However, after reading your post:
- I've deleted KM-Goanna's profile to make sure that none of my settings interfere.
- Added your pref in about:config
Same result. I'm asked to install the Flash Player. (FirefoxESR and KM-Gecko are displaying the HTML5 video)
No big drama for me since I'm not a fedbook user and KM-Goanna isn't
yet my default browser.
