This post is going to to explain how to get a current uBlock Origin version for K-Meleon. There seems to be some confusion regarding this topic, so I am going to clarify.

uBlock Origin is - as of the time of this writing - maintained in two versions:

- a WebExtension version, which is meant for current Firefox versions, especially for all Firefox versions starting with and including Firefox 57 - this is the one currently offered at the Firefox add-ons page (AMO)
- a non-WebExtension version, which is going to work in K-Meleon

The non-WebExtension version (and thus the relevant one for K-Meleon) can be found here: https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock/releases

Any "uBlock0.firefox.xpi" is going to work in K-Meleon, as it represents the non-WebExtension version.

DO NOT TRY TO INSTALL "uBlock0.webext.xpi"!!! This is the WebExtension version. It will neither install nor work in K-Meleon.

This add-on (named uBlock Origin Updater) for Pale Moon is going to update the non-WebExtension version automatically by fetching the most recent release of it from GitHub: https://addons.palemoon.org/addon/ublock0-updater/

@KMfan2: The same address says Ad Blocking enabled! for me, both in Pale Moon and K-Meleon.

@all others: Can anybody confirm KMfan2's issue?

I might be wrong but my wild guess is that KMfan2 did use the CSS option. No blocking (merely hiding) so nothing to detect.
As for confirmation, I can't since I don't use any extention.
However the site tells me (if scripting is enabled) that I'm blocking ads (because of my HOSTS file).

I can confirm @KM2fan problem, same here. Installation was fine, however I still see the ads and I can't open the uOrigen options to see the filters. I tested CSS enable/disable and all privacy settings but nothing works here. Really miss a good integrated adblock extension in KMGoanna. ¬_¬

uBlock doesn't WORK in KM - even if it can be installed.

Can someone who has uBlock Origin installed please present a browser console log?

Was curious to see if uBlock Origin worked.

I tested the Firefox legacy version from the Github page.

Someone with Github access should post this to the ticket - https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock/issues/3670

Forgot to mention that you can load the uBlock Origin dashboard here:
chrome://ublock0/content/dashboard.html

But, the filter lists do not load, nor can you save any options.
