The layout of elements is wrong on many pages.

For instance, on Stackexchange.com, the question score and voting buttons appear above the question body while it should be on the left.

But this is quite an old regression. I switched to Pale Moon when this bug appeared. But otherwise I would prefer K-Meleon.

This bug appears at least since version 20200815, older ones not tested by me. :s

so you're comparing with NM28 which has way newer(gecko 52 based) rendering engine than KM's(gecko 38 based).

I think this problem appeared about a year or two ago. First K-Meleon/Goanna builds had no such problem.

Of course it can happen that browsers get bugs which break functions that worked better before, but far more often it happens that websites change their code.
And if the website authors use newer javascript+css functions, or even functions which are only Chrome-specific, other browsers or older engines get problems. Not much to do about this sadly, if website authors don't care. Or even intentionally want to force visitors on Chrome, or want to get rid of older browsers. Happens all the time on Google-owned websites, as reported by Mozilla.

But as roytam1 mentioned, the core engine in KM (+NewMoon27) is really getting rather old by now. More and more glitches on modern websites

My impression is that Stackexchange and Open Build Service broke around the same time, so, I think it is more probably a browser's issue.
