Hmmm, ever thought of releasing a current version of k-meleon with the current mozilla milestone? if yuo get 0.9.9 (at least) in a release of yours to work, i'd possibly switch all browsers to k-meleon here (some library).
greetz,

Such a beta already exists, but as it has some major usability problems (which are rooted to the mozilla code base and not K-M's code base), it has not been released to the public. Two of those usability problems which come to my mind :
- the download dialog is completely broken (does not appear even though the download is happening).
- some problems to access SSL sites.
Until those bugs are eradicated in Moz's code base, no new release of K-M will happen as it has already been stated numerous times in the various K-M forums...
Best regards,
Zeiram

So why not open up read-only to CVS? (don't know if it is or not). Then people can build their own or start a CVS-nightly-build site to distribute "beta" releases. Check out GAIM's website and you'll see what I mean. Nightly tarballs are your friend.
