IT Localization

Hi all.
I'm not a developer.
I had partially translated "kmeleon.kml" (from v1.5.4) with Italian localization.
How can I check my current work?
Thank you very much.

Just guessing ;-)
The kmeleon.kml files from other languages are in K-Meleon/locales/xy-XY
Perhaps try creating a folder it-IT, copy the kml into it, restart the browser and check the language in F2/GUI Appearance...
If it's not enough, open about:config and type 'local', check what's there, and check with 'lang', that seems to have some settings too...
Restart again...

IMPORTANT: Make a backup copy of the KM program folder and the profile first!
I seem to remember weird stuff if the locale files aren't complete, especially when opening the preferences...

AFAIK You can re-use parts e.g. much of the chrome from K-Meleon 1.1.6it-IT.

New chrome items were AFAIK added to Preferences panel and console2.

PPL that did localisations (kko, alain, desga2, Matt...) can tell what other parts might be still reusable.

p.s. This is an International not an English Forum smiling smiley

Your English is a good as any here. alain speaks (fr-FR) and siria (de-DE) but use English vocabulary for writing French and German grinning smiley
