I notice that most extensions have broken XUL windows that are the same size as browser windows, even if they were supposed to be mere dialogs. but...not all, the javascript alert() function produces normal small dialogs. I see that even the preferences dialog and the error console seem to launch with a full sized window and then shrink it down.
Could someone with knowledge of this comment on what's going on here? What commands are used to resize an overgrown window to the size it was meant to be? Is this a bug in Mozilla, or KMeleon XUL layer? Is this going to be fixed someday or we should write extensions with an extra resizing command from now onward?
Thanks all,
microrss ready for 1.6 except those dialog windows...
okay got the fix. will try it 2moro, too sleepy tonight.
found some other really weird behavior change between 1.5 and 1.6, haven't diagnosed it yet, could be 3rd party cross site priveledges are looser, or maybe it's just my profiles not identical.
