building k-meleon 1.1

I have problems building k-meleon 1.1.

I have VS 2003 (7.1)

When I follow this:
http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net/wiki/BuildKMeleon

I get the following problem: kmeleon fatal error LNK1181: cannot open input file 'plc4_s.lib'

And on this page, the instructions are for k-meleon 1.0, not 1.1.: http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net/wiki/BuildKMeleonDistribution

------
I wanted to change the code to get the following functionality:
when you click on a link with Ctrl pressed, the new tab would appear in the background, like in Firefox.

And hopefully be able to contribute further to k-meleon development.
-------

Any help will be much appreciated!

You have to wait that Dorian answers on built things smiling smiley
But maybe You find some improvement for Your click problem there.

p. s. As far as I see the lib You miss is part of the SeaMonkey libs - so You may have to look into that part of the build process.

Could You help me to set up a build environemnt?

This used to be possible by changing accel.cfg

CTRL LButton = layers(OpenLinkBg)

without changing the code.
I am not sure if this still works.

This behavior is defined in \K-Meleon\defaults\settings\accel.cfg. It's not hardcoded and you don't need to build km to change this. Simply go to Tools > Mouse Accelerators and choose Firefox 2.0 or SeaMonkey 1.1, and you get what you want.
