Hi,

the internal links on the Documentation page (4, in the first paragraph) don't work from their text body links, though the same 4 link targets are speedily presented when you click the links in the navigation box (?) above.

I did spend some time on that, but now I surrendered.

Is there any native English speaker out there who is expert enough with the wiki markup language to help me understanding the "anchors" paragraph here?

The words that are not clear enough for me are:
reference (as opposed to: refence(d) to and reference(d) from)
anchor name
link title

I miss clearer words like:
link (the screen range you click on), usually containing the
link text (blue text, and code representing it).
link target (contenmt jumped to, and code representing it)

Plus, I have a dim feeling that the info in that paragraph is not really consistent?

Please, can someone enlighten me ...

The correct method for a link is like this code from MacroLanguage2.

From the table of contents

The link
 #[comments]%%%

The link is begun in column 2 and is not part of the heading. The %%% is only to provide space below the link.

but I'm afraid I'm not seeing the obvious. The "anchor" paragraph I was referring to is part of that "Extended Markup Language" page (your second link) - but I can't digest it.

I think the easiest would be if someone (you?) could repair the English page - then I could do the German one.

I suppose with "column 2" you mean that blank at the beginning of the line... Just discovered (again?) this too a few minutes ago, that a blank there matters!
(Added some bookmarks stuff to FAQ, how to search and open folders)

If part of the problem was in how the documentation was written, then perhaps this "draft" rewrite might be of some use.

Anchors are used to link inside of pages, instead of linking from page to page. Anchors are defined and referenced through use of the hash sign, which is placed inside of square brackets. Example: #[anchorname]

Use or reference requires you to use both the hash sign and the anchor name inside square brackets.

(Don't quite get what the next section is all about, but IF it is about how to put in instructions, THEN perhaps this would be proper???

Both Anchors and anchor references are remarked (entitled????) using quotation marks or the dash sign. Examples:

* [#anchor2 "anchor2 jump link title"]
