Well I am using K-meleon for almost 2 weeks now; in that sense I am ROOKIE in here.

I am wondering that Is there anyway to create Compact Menu Style like OPERA 11 or FF4 ? I think it is very useful for slick and clean design.

F2 > toolbars > general > check hide menu bar

just drag the main bar or tab bar onto the same line as the menu bar and then slide it all the way over to the left(or double-click it's left edge) covering the menu items. Then all that'll be visible on the menu bar is a little arrow button that when clicked shows a vertical compact menu.

If You do it like that You should unhide the button icon that Phoenity skin has for the PREFERENCES & Compact Menu.

Menu: Edit -> Conguration -> Toolbars. That edits toolbars.cfg of used skin.

Delete the "#" in front of each line shown here (save as backup first is a good idea)

If you are using some 1.6 beta you only have to hide menu bar in Preferences.
Compact menu is available in right click context menu of the Preference toolbar button (the gearwheel button).

I didn't implemented it, this already implemented in new skin included in 1.6alpha.
I think this new skin is implemented by you, guenter, is it?.

The used toolbars.cfg and menuicons.cfg code is mostly older code by contributors to the K-Meleon project under the GNU General Public License.

p.s. The wheel (or another icon for the same function) is in almost all skins and icon sets that I created, adapted or helped to adapt for K-Meleon. & I use the Compact Menu longer then the checkbox existed.
