I start to present new stuff made by members of Russian K-meleon Team.
You know our comrade hermes. He prepared a lot of additions for KM but he asks me to present them 1 by 1 to understand whether you comrades are interested in them or not.
So now I want to show you Ext Toolbar - new module, that creates new toolbar with buttons to run 3rd party tools from KM.
It can be populated using GUI not editing macros - so it should be popular among non-advanced users and novices.
You can download the tool here
and unpack it in your KM folder as usual.
Now you have to run the tool for the first time manually (this is the testing version sure) from TOOLs\EXT_TOOLBAR\EXT_TOOLBAR_KMM.eXe under your KM rootfolder.
Your should get the toolbar control GUI - the red 1 shown on screenshot (clickable):
What to do there (green numbers):
1) Give some name to your toolbar (my gets 'Run Apps' there);
2) Tick the checkbox for toolbar to appear in KM;
3) Press '+' button to add items 1 by 1 to the list of apps;
4) Select rows 1 by 1 and press Settings button to edit the item;
Pressing Settings button you should get next controls window:
NB! You should point the tool to separate icon file as it cannot extract one from exe.
Agree to SAVE when finished with setup in both GUI windows. Restart KM.
Now you should get the new toolbar listed in KM menu (see 1st picture's red 2) and sure - the toolbar itself like shown below:
Right-click on the button to get context menu calling toolbar controls from KM. Add more applications.
Enjoy the tool!!!
