Hopefully someone can assist. I want to us Windows Media Player to play " .wma and .asf " files from hyperlinks on web site pages. This is very easy to do with Internet Explorer but does not work with Kmeleon. I entered the script in the "prefs.js" file like this - user_pref("browser.helperApps.neverAsk.openFile","audio/x-pn-realaudio,audio/x-realaudio,application/vnd.rn-realmedia");
user_pref("kmeleon.general.CloseDownloadDialog"",true);
user_pref("kmeleon.general.saveDir","C:\\temp\\");

The media just downloaded as code on the browser page. I saw "andy" had this mastered and wrote him, but I sure would appreciate help from anyone.
Thanks
Vegas

I believe MS has a netscape plugin for using windows media player (6.4). Works on mozilla so k-meleon should be happy =)

If only i could remember the link... sorry.
