KM startup problem

Hello all
Anyone seen this or has a solution?
Everytime I start up KM for the first time I get a pop up message saying:
An error occurred reading the startup configuration file.
line 47: Reference error: defaultpref is not defined.
Clicking ok starts up KM w/o any problem

I added a new profile and threw away the default but the error persists.

Win2000
Version 0.6.5 Build 488 Compiled Sun Sep 15 18:10:56 2002

I post it here because this error follows me during a few beta´s now and I cannot figure out what to do

If I remember correctly this was from a bad defualt configuration from the last beta.

Did you remove the old beta before you installed the new, and are you using some files in the profile folder from the last beta?

Hello Jason,
Maybe, I am not sure.
It is asked during installation that an old installation has been discovered and if it needs to be removed. I answered yes and followed the rest of the procedure. But iI am not sure if everything was removed.
I will run a test beginning next week where I will uninstall KM completly before reinstalling and see what happens. I will post the outcome. here
Thanks for helping

Hello Jason,
Your hint proofed to be right.
I uninstalled the KM 6.0 and the beta version and reinstalled the beta again.
Problem is solved now.
