I know it isn't, but I am sure that there are a lot of people who didn't take the time to look at the forums and otherwise dig a little deeper.

Yeah that's the main problem as far as I see it as well: people only look as far as these forums, and then no further. The thing is though, they don't realise that the developers do not pay attention to these forums much anymore (frankly I can't blame them, you should'e been here a year ago before the release of v0.7, what with all the trolling and absurdity that went on).

Anyway, I posted this link elsewhere, and I might as well reiterate on it again: the real development goes on in the developers mailing list/forum. If you really want to play around with the latest beta, then read this message and follow the link:
