how do I get KM to open all layers which were open when the program was previously closed? It appears this fine feature has been added to the latest betas but I cannot find any doku on how to use it. TIA.

have a look into groups afaik just save as group, does not matter whether it is layers.

Right-click the Home button or go to View-Home. 'Open Last Session' will open your last session pages. 'Start with Last Session' will open them automatically whenever you start KM.

Thanks, guys. Exactly the info I was looking. Now all I have to do is to get KM back in working order (see my other post on "invalid page fault").
