This is to announce a Quicknote feature for K-Meleon, similar to that of Firefox and Opera.
As with all K-meleon enhancements it requires minor edits of the macros and toolbars sections of Config.

In addition, you must download the following files including "Kwiknote.exe" which was specially written to be fast and minimalistic to match K-meleon's interface.

Step 1 : Download the following archive.
Kwiknote.zip
Extract the files from the archive to the K-meleon folder. Confirm that extracted files are in the same directory
as k-meleon.exe

You k-meleon directory should have the following files :
1) Kwiknote.exe
2) Note.kwn

Step 2 :
In K-Meleon go to Edit >> Preferences. Select "Configs" on the left panel.
Insert the following code in the end of Macros section :

quicknote {
exec ("Kwiknote.exe")
}


Insert the follwing code in the end of the Toolbars section :

quicknote {
Quick Note {
macros(quicknote)
QuickNote
}
}


Step 3 :
Close and Restart K-meleon. You should now see a "Quick Note" Button on a separate toolbar. Click and enjoy.
