I have a question, is it possible to create a splash screen for k-meleon?

Why would you? Splash screens are for slow programs. ;-|
BTW: There was a small tool bundled with K-M in the past that allowed to show a splash screen.

ra, it was just an idea of mine, but netscape is slow loading so you have a point.
Just going to find that small tool.

It's bundled e.g. with 0.8.2. Upon installation when chosing components scroll down to "Miscellaneous K-Meleon Tools", then there's [x] "Splash screen tool", "K-Meleon Loader" and "K-Meleon Remote Control".
The tool was removed because no one wanted it (or didn't say so), mentioned by Ulf on the dev-list about a year ago.

Another caveat with the splash screen tool is (if it's the one I'm thinking of), it will create a splash screen, however K-Meleon will only load *after* the splash screen is displayed, not during the loading which for some people may not be desirable.
Still it is a way of doing a splash for K-Meleon so it can't be all bad.

i agree that this would be a nice gimmic but.... did You know:
it is the slash screen that makes mozilla suites load so slow!
