Im wondering if anyone can help me with this?
I love k-meleon and it is the best browser in the world. however in the uk certain major isps virgin, bt, talktalk are tying up with a company called Phorm , who are purchasing and tracing all our surfing details and using them to target us with adverts.

After a bit of back lash there are programs appearing to combat this form of spyware and one of them is called antiphorm, that once installed sends Phorm completely the wrong information,

However it is still having details recorded be it the worng ones or not, however it uses a very small foot print which is good.
Now I DO NOT want to go to FF as k-meleon is what I love to use, but for FF there is program called Dephormation
http://www.dephormation.org.uk/
However it is an xpi installation file, is there any way in which i can get this to work with k-meleon?

any help would be extremely appreciated.

www.yacy.net has the same effect, we could build it into k-meleon as the default search engine, which has a crawl modus for websites with low bandwidth.
then you have a p2p search engine into kameleon for website, and if you want to antiphorm, you can spider or crawl websites, so you get hundrets of urls each hour surfed in the background.
Implement this. It is java deamon and the searchpage is a localhost8080 in kmeleon.

It seems as though Phorm has or is quickly petering out.

Goolge listings also seem to indicate that Phorm is being done-in quite quickly.

I think I actually read a recent Reg article specifically indicating the UK requires that Phorm be strictly opt-in.
