I need to translate the en-US.jar?
You need a pt-BR.jar file, you can translate it from en-US.jar or replace his files (remember jar is a zip file) with files from Seamonkey pt-BR.jar localization.
Remember that all files in jar are UNICODE UTF-8 format. Use Notepad++ or PSPad text editors (for example).

So... You translated and send it... but when they will release?
The Brazilian Users say that this is a great browser... one said that is the greatest.. just the fail is "There is no Brazilian Portuguese version"... I like the english version...but you will get more users if release a translated version..

Sorry, the delay is my fault.
I plan to release pt-BR together with the next km version (1.5.4). Release isn't scheduled yet. I guess, end of the year/beginning of the next year.
They took my translation package and say they translated :mad:

Otherwise: I think we might have a communication/language problem.
Nobody here says or can or wants to say that anyone but You, xGrind, translated K-Meleon to pt-BR.
The next version needs AFAIK no changes by You in Your translation. Else kko would IMHO have already mailed You. He mailed me in late summer and wrote that Your translation looks good (as far as he can say without speaking pt-BR).
IMHO in this thread: kko said that it is not the translator's but the devs' fault (a time problem) that pt-BR is not yet given to the pt-BR end users.
p.s. For any that does not know this. It is never the devs but always a native speaker user that does the translation.
Also all should know - if no native user wants to do the translation, there will be no translation to that language.
kko or other translators to other languages will give technical info how to do the job. They can help to solve technical problems.
Only French (alain) & German (kko) where K-Meleon devs speak these languages natively are by devs.
For the project release of the official packages are build by the devs together for all languages.
@xGrind, correct me if I remember wrong. As far as I remember I send You an older version of the installer builder (I have only have that), so that You can experiment. And if You want build and issue pt-BR installers before the official release?

For the setup, if he wants to integrate pt-BR messages, he has just to translate the message file (english.nlf), and when setting up, the language of the setup will be in pt-BR.

He sent it to kko & to me. If I correctly remember in early summer?
I sent him the 3.2 or 3.3 of the installer builder? The newest version I had!
I hope the files have not changed much since then?
AFAIK kko should also have the nlf together with all translated files.
I thought You get nlf automatically? In case You need it to check it against newer version for changes?

I have attached it - I had to rename to gif to get it accepted. Forum does not accept nlf as upload

Sorry, it's me who haven't understood.
If the portuguese nlf file is made, it's ok.
Even there were some modification since the version you give (now I have a 1.3.6), There are the same strings.
