That's an utterly simple macro, using basic commands that work in all KM-versions and probably many to come.

Not sure why, but perhaps kmext lists ALL macros that work in ALL KM-versions still as "1.6", if they do not require separate versions for KM7X?? That gives a very wrong impression to readers, scaring them off right away
Perhaps by default all 1-edition macros could be marked as "1.6.x (and newer?)"

KMext site is very slowly updated - most of the macros were added there before 2012.

If some of us would get access to edit this site - we could fix version compatibility info comparatively fast.

the general rule is:

if you open the archive with some extension - and it doesn't contain folders 'chrome' or 'kplugins' [or 'components' - thank you, siria!]- then this one will work fine with KM 7x.

The only tiny thing to consider is the changed location for "defaults/pref" files, users should move them into "browser/defaults/preferences" since KM74.
Anything else...?

But in most cases those pref files aren't that important anyway. They only define a "default" setting, Which is handy in some cases, but as soon as a user toggles that macro setting, the pref is created automatically anyway, as user setting. The only prob is that macros can't figure out if a pref is intentionally "false" or at first-run "not existing" yet, both deliver the same state 0 :-/

Use built-in useragent switcher to add new UA-string (find one from FF38 ESR for example).
In Pro you can set an own UA for every particular site.

Missed KM 75 Pro Virgo ! Best !

But.. When switching to newest useragent, when i go to google.com it gives me the firefox compatible mode (that ugly big Google logo in the middle of the page not the old look with logo on top). Can u help about that ?
Also it gives me "your browser it outdated. please bla bla..."

Try to add modern useragent string through the corresponding menu. I was never faced with such a problem in KM Pro

Got it.
It is still a bit too Russian - not the easiest to switch when in Russian to English when one cannot read the menu entries at all.

Also - even after switching, the search choices in the drop-down remain all in Russian.

My grandparents all came here from Russia - but they did not live long enough to teach me Russian, so having menu items in Cyrillic is not very useful for me !!

All russified-search engines in my build are duplicated with their english-named equivalents. Just choose them in Preferences or replace with other engines.

Try this updated package instead.

It should have all on to work with FF addons.

(The pref involved is kmeleon.install_firefox_extension and it should be true)

btw, i like the GreePro skin, finally K-Meleon without the (Windows) tittle bar but with the minimize, restore and exit button
