amazing update! I am still using your km74 pro on my netbook.
i hope greasemonkey could be integrated into the pro edition , i could not make it on rc2 , but i can make greasemonkey working on km75 75.1 with gecko31.0 while km76rc2 is based on 38.0 , I tried everything here https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/greasemonkey/versions nothing works on rc2 , with no luck....:mad:

I'll try to add as much useful options as I can. GreaseMonkey 2.3.1 works here, but with some glitches.

What archiver do you use?
It's packed with newest 7zip, so you can have problems with 7zip 4.65 or 9.20 for example...

The 7z download unpacks okay on my end with 7zip version 16.04 on Windows 7 SP1 - no decompressing errors encountered. Might be using very old version of 7zip along with using a pre-XP version of Windows.

A number of problems and glitches are fixed so my recommendation is to redownload the package and unpack it over working installation.

I can't get Greasemonkey 2.3.1 to work, do I need to do anything else, e.g. create folders or copy some files somewhere?

My most working installation of GM was made through installing it in Firefox, adding scripts - and after that copying GM-related folders from there to KM-profile.

This works fine in 75. But there could be some more troubles in 76 as I cannot get STABLE work of GM here. It behaves unpredictably, sorry.

The best way to use userscripts in KM that I know - is siria's StyleScriptia extension along with its 'little brother' StyleonMini

Rodocop ... thanks for this newer K-Meleon 76 Pro version. I just downloaded an earlier version and it was running very good. Found out about this version a few hours ago.

My Profile folder seems to have carried over from the other version with no problems.

I don't notice any difference but if you say it's better than the other version, then that's good enough for me.

New version is just more actual, more compatible. And it seems to work better with RAM.
Also it has some new inbuilt useful extensions, but they can be used with old version too, sure.

Just check

browser.display.use_document_colors

If that's true, then system colours should not work.

Dunno the origins of these settings, but it looks like typical Mozilla FF :mad:

The MozillaZine entries (http://kb.mozillazine.org/About:config_entries) are also confusing.

psst... check out "Chrome Store Foxified" extension for Firefox, maybe
you can fork something with it for k-meleon..
You can get chrome extensions for firefox, many of them work..
and you can save them as UNSIGNED .xpi's on your hard-drive..

Not all Google Chrome extension will work even though they succesfully installed.The "Mozilla WebExtension API" is what runs Google Chrome extensions. This API is a work in progress by the Mozilla team, when the team finishes the API, all Chrome extensions will work. See the "Known Limitations" section at bottom.
Currently only supports installing "Extensions" from the Chrome Web Store. "Apps" and "Themes" will not currently work. This is also due to the WebExtension API not supporting it.

@rodocop Can u make all ur extensions or macros downloadable, I think lots of km fans need working macros and extension ,the old km macro wiki is not uptodate, someone might update that wiki for the new km version!

Most of them are already published in Extensions subforum, aimfiend!

unfortunately it does not support that api..

KM 76 is developed for about 1,5 years.

NEW release should be based on more actual version of Gecko - 45 or 52.
