I really like KM 76 Pro RC! I have been added some UA from @foliator and @Mikk and now I don't know how to delete them, so how can I edit them without harm something? Suggestion: may you add an icon in next releases to allow/disallow images easy? :s Thanks Rodocop!

Possible issues after some navigation with 76RCPro:
- sometimes the last tab is opened again after closed (while history disabled),
- sometimes the top bar (where it is the 'X') is not shown,
- cookies section at privacy settings is not shown if spanish language is set,
- sometimes the choosen UA is not remembered (while reset to KM is disabled);
By the way I see that there are two Chrome spoofing UA so I decided to add Edge:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/46.0.2486.0 Safari/537.36 Edge/13.10586
- it worked for me where 'spoofed' Firefox 52 doesn't.

The trick to solve the 'last tab reopen issue' when K-Meleon 76RC pro is closed seems to be just leave open two empty tabs before closing KM.
I love the merged Ad-Block extension!

The "last tab closed reopen" issue was actual some time ago, but for now it shouldn't - except applied to recently closed WINDOW (second or further).

The old 'solution' was to open-close new tab before closing browser.

UA-switcher in Pro-build works on 'per site' basis. Not globally.

Why not just use the existing one in the privacy toolbar? It contains a bunch of buttons, incl. a few hidden ones, but it's up to the users to decide which ones they want to see or to hide

@siria thank you, I nearly got mad searching the 'privacy toolbar' till I noticed that there is no 'privacy toolbar' option in the 'pinstripeTwin' skin by clicking the rigth button of the mouse -- at least I haven't seen it. I have set 'default' skin and yes, here it's the good privacy bar with the nice 'image' button! K-Meleon is amazingly and easily customizable with one single click!

@rodocop I'm sorry, when spanish language is set, menu pro<advanced management<firefox-style preferences shows nothing. Anyway, this is the most tweaked and customized browser I have seen in my entire life. Thanks! :s

Oh... right, 75Pro contains a whole bunch of skins, but in KM each skin defines by it's own which buttons it offers! Because they are defined in toolbars.cfg, and also depend on matching image names. So each skin is very different, but stuff can be copied back and forth between different skins by users themselves.
And just noticed that despite so many out-of-box skins the choice of backgrounds (back.bmp) contains only 1 plain gray and something striped. That's a bit a pity, but very easily customizable if anyone wants :cool:

It is a Searx Instance, as any Searx instance, just needs de Q (query) parameter "q=", so:

For those that don't know anything about Searx, it is a multi metasearch engine, similar to what was IxQuick in the past, but the difference is that you can build for yourself your own search engine focused on privacy. You only need a domain, a hosting, and configure it. If you host yourself in your machine, it won't be private, of course.

Well, is this a 'stable' or 'development', release? Using 75.1 Portable a .paf release from PortableApps. Don't want to overwrite it with a zip or exe if its buggy. Should I just wait until John Haller or Gord Caswell does a .paf.exe install version?

Simply do as most of us here, don't overwrite, but install into an own folder. This way both versions can work fully independant, and if needed you can copy over stuff from one into another.
And of course use an own profile folder too, but if you have or create an empty file "profile.ini" in the KM root folder, it's independant anyway.

New release of KM Pro will make any sense only when new official build from Dorian will arrive (if any).

KM Pro is just a custom preconfigured assembly with some extra tools.

However, I still plan to update my Pro-build with some renewed tools or extensions. No roadmap sorry, I have some problems in real life now.

I will add more details for siria's macro report to next builds of KM to make possible distinguish one build (even with minor changes) from another.

I believe that version stuff in platform.ini only refers to the Mozilla engine inside, which is often the same for little KM updates, and especially for new non-dev builds.

But if you have TONS of skins to choose from in F2>GUI, and did not overwrite a previous "Pro" install with an "official" install at any time, then this is a sure sign for "Pro" The official KM76 versions only offer "default" and "Klassic" skin, no more. In old 1.X versions there were also Phoenity skins to choose, but still very little.

What you can do now is modify yourself the platform.ini with the Pro-Version, using rodocops screenshot for the date.

And perhaps he has a version history of "Pro" somewhere?

Adodupans old build also has this pref in kmeleon.js:
pref("general.useragent.appversion", "1.8.24");

Don't find it in official versions in the same file. But would find it handy, as additional version source in all builds. My macro already checks it for existence and gives it priority, as long as there's no KM-entry in platform.ini

(Seriously, thinking about it, a program which isn't able to tell it's own exact version to the user anywhere, that's a big lack)

Why I don't trust it is because older versions can have that one too, but created by some user macro for completely different stuff
