KM-17alpha-F3616 experimental version

I have unofficially updated KM-17 alpha to Gecko 1.9.2.16,
date 20110319, from the updated Firefox 3.6.16.
The Firefox 3.6 series will further exist alongside with Firefox 4.
Note : This version needs the 80's runtimes. Download MSvce8dist.exe from
http://jujuland.pagesperso-orange.fr and install it.
The profile will be created inside the K-Meleon folder. If in Linux you want it inside
the ".wine" folder, because of user rights problems, rename the file profile.ini to profile.ini-renamed before the first start.
Important: Instead of writing the address into the URL bar,
press the URL button which will open a prompt to write the address in.
A javascript button has been added.
This is just a proof of concept, not a polished final version, so some things may not work yet.

Regards to all

Thanks, Fred, great job again.
A question: in this new version can not be saved passwords? In "Preferences/Privacy & security" I have enabled the option "Remember login data (usernames and passwords)", but it does not work.
Regards.

Except for the new gecko, the variation should be
actually more or less identical with the
development version 1.7a2.
The differences are the added URL button and the
added javascript button.
I am not sure, why remembering login data does
not work. Everything is still experimental.

Is there any way to remove the text "Always use URL button"?

Ah. I figured it out;

about:config - kmeleon.display.URLbarTitle - then just delete the string value.
