New unofficial version : KM-16-F3621

I have uploaded a new unofficial version KM-16-F3621 ,
based on the updated Firefox 3.6.21 , Gecko 1.9.2.21 , date 20110830 .
Note : This version needs the 80's runtimes. Download MSvce8dist.exe from
http://jujuland.pagesperso-orange.fr and install it.
As kplugins from K-Meleon 1.5 are being used, you will also need
the files msvcp71.dll and msvcr71.dll in your system or in your
K-Meleon folder.
If you need these files, look for them in the internet.

Download from here :

Regards to all

Thx Fred.

BTW. I was much surprised that Typeaheadfind works.

An installer for the two mentioned, missing VC7.1 files is e.g. on Fast Sjonny's home page that hosts the first/2004 K-Meleon 0.8.2+ project of Dorian, Hao Jiang and Fast Sjonny.

Question: From whom and which issue is the used history.dll originally.

As far as I can remember, I found it in Hao's
CCFME variation.

Greetings

Thanks Fred! Found it in CCFME 0.097.0 too.
It uses KHistory.dat instead of history.dat
and uses a different incompatible format.
I'm not sure why he changed it.
Unicode titles for Asian language?

If anybody had problems with history titles
in KM1.6 - sample URLs would be nice.

Since the history source from CVS works
fine with KM 1.7/GRE 1.9.2, I've only added
the missing options to open entries in tabs
and my big history.dat for testing is still
in use.
