I have uploaded a new unofficial version KM-16-F3627 ,
based on the updated Firefox 3.6.27 , Gecko 1.9.2.27 , date 20120216 .
Further updates for Firefox 3.6 should be available until
April, as many business customers will want to continue using
the older Firefox versions.
Note : This version needs the 80's runtimes. Download MSvce8dist.exe from
http://jujuland.pagesperso-orange.fr and install it.
As kplugins from K-Meleon 1.5 are being used, you will also need
the files msvcp71.dll and msvcr71.dll in your system or in your K-Meleon folder.
If you need these files, look for them in the internet.
The profile will be created inside the K-Meleon folder.
If in Linux you want it inside the ".wine" folder, because of
user rights problems, rename the file profile.ini to
profile.ini-renamed before the first start.

Thanks for the update.

I have 2 problems with using gmail.

1 After opening about 20 pages in diferent tabs it freezes and I have to alt cntrl delete to exit.

2. Scroll mouse does not scroll, but it does move down when I I roll the wheel. But I can lve with this.

Everything else looks great though so far..but for gmail at the moment. Prior to the your new versions KM cannot handle the new aspects of gmail and use the full features that it has.

FF works perfectly with gmail. ie can open as many tabs as I like and it just keeps on going, but haven't quite got to 100 tabs yet. Would like to come back to KM though as it is the only browser for me.

The new layout takes a little get use to and have to spend quite a bit of time getting it up to what I am use to. Cannot understand why you don't just include the files for bookmarks in your zip file as I have plenty of copies elsewhere on the system but had to copy them into the KM folder.

This is how I use a new KM...download and extract it into it own folder...Bookmarks - I copy the html file from the old folder and put it into the new folder. I don't try to install it etc etc..Though I guess I have 1.4 still intalled...But I always work from the folder and I only run 1 brwoser at a time, not side by side...don't have any fancy additions (macros, extentions etc.) just the versionas is. Hope this helps you to understand where I am coming from

Another problem I have is that it freezes after using it for a while (not sure how long??).

The cpu goes to 50% and it stops responding....otherwise it is looking great so far.

I have a little problem. When I click on a link (http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net/wiki/MacroLibrary for example) and try to search for an existing word (Strg + F), it doesn't work. I get no results and after that the mouse wheel is not working - I can't scroll anymore. It works only when I type this link in the URL bar. Could someone confirm this problem?

Works OK for me.
Try to keep the mouse pointer over the search field
when typing, otherwise the letters will possibly
not be accepted in some systems.
Have you got all the necessary dll-runtimes
that I have mentioned in my first post ?
