I fixed that K-meleon 7zip file bug.
It was the compression I was using. Also it is now in a reg zip file.

I need to update it. K-meleon-db aim is for security.
It will have hard times with websites.
You will just have to turn off it's security.
And:

I some issues with websites seems to be my settings & how websites react to them.
This happens with Firefox also I noticed. It's a file in your profile.
"webappsstore.sqlite" Some websites make it pop up. It's like a cookie kind of thing I think, so you can be tracked.
Just open it in note pad & delete all in it.
Then type in: Privacy Program
save it & set the file to hidden, Read-only archive!
Now nothing can be saved on the file.
This will help you in some websites!

Even the no DNS will give you some issues.
DON"T GO TO A GOV WEB SITE WITH NO DNS!!!!!

one note: emptying webappsstore.sqlite and setting it to read-only may cause some websites not working.
For example, Twitter.
You need to make webappsstore.sqlite writable, run such a site and only then set this file to read-only (not clearing content).

Such a way makes Twitter (or other sites, which need to write into webappsstore.sqlite) working properly and at the same time let you feel secured from webapp content from untrusted sites.

I installed firefox 4.0.1, i put the db-FF4 content in the profile. All is good but i can't install Adblock Plus and Oldbar. Some help please! Thanks!

The frames is turned off on the FF4.
Also the user agent is set to K-meleon 1.7 db
Go to tools & look for "K-Meleon db" & change the user agent.

My settings might give other plugins a hard time.
FF4 has security issues. My settings need to be up not changed.
no frames is a part of it as no cache memory etc.

If you want a less locked browser the newest FF is it.
If you have an old PC, you will need the security!

I am changing it's name to be like the old "KMFILES" for K-meleon.
"FFILES" is the profile replacement, kit for FireFox.

It's settings is for security. When you know you will be attacked
you will have to run it with a locked profile!
That is a pain I noticed at some websites there are some files that pop up
then close when you shutdown in the profile.
As in a "xpti.dat.tmp" file.

Im guessing being so locked up websites are finding a way to put info on my PC.
In something like a cookie file etc!

Being like that I prefer K-meleon db 1.6NS.
It gets only a 13 max on security, but no secret files pop up
like it does on FF4 with a locked up profile.

I need to note that I do get attacked a lot!
My aim is security on the browser parts.

I have a hard time with that file! It makes FireFox lock up on yahoo a lot,
with all versions of Firefox. If I delete it & lock it up I don't have a hard time!
I have more bad than good with it!

I never noticed the file like that before with K-Meleon.
That might be why FF & KM has been acting up at websites a lot in the past.
I lock it all up & all is fine!

I also did the same thing to "cookies.sqlite-journal" LOL!
Why? It takes a long time for that file to pop up on the profile.
I have to go to website to website back & forth around & round.
Then it will pop up! I didn't like that so locked up it goes!

Keep in mind I do get attacked a lot, on Current website.
The Trolls aim at me I have to lock it up!

JamesD's unofficial KM-1.6beta2.5 release.

On my old PC it still had the tab issues.
So I just fixed it going back to the old history file.
It holds up better. But still vanishes with me!
If I go from tab to tab back & forth one of the tabs will just vanish!
No sign of it in the browsers history at all!

Also noticed youtube locked up again. Now I know why!
The K-meleon.exe seems like the one of the KM 1.7!
The 1.7 likes to lock up on youtube!

I put the old exe from the KM 1.6 back in my browser & youtube works
no lockup!

How many tabs do you have open when this happens? Do you have favicons or the "x" on tabs showing?

I wanted to push on the FireFox Profile replacement,

Really K-Meleon is faster so im back on it.

Does anyone know how to update the flashblock?
That is what locks up video sites! Youtube etc.
