I have uploaded to Rapidshare an updated version
K-Meleon0.9.13-ud5-1.8.1 .
A missing file necessary for https-sites has been added in update 5.
This is the original 0.9.13 version, updated to
Mozilla 1.8.1.pre2 using Gecko/20070221,
from the latest nightly of Seamonkey 1.1.1 .
with some additional features.
To keep this version safe, and nevertheless
keep the look and feel and the features
of 0.9.13 (with NoScript and Adblock included),
I have used the latest Gecko 1.8.1, together with some
files of Dorian's development for 1.0 , to make it work,
in this Update 5 for K-Meleon 0.9.13.
Download at :
http://rapidshare.com/files/18064853/K-Meleon0.9.13-ud5-1.8.1.zip.html
Note: This version works only if you have the files mfc71.dll, msvcp71.dll and
msvcr71.dll in your system or in your K-Meleon folder. If you need them, they
are still available under the name dll-installer on the KM 8.2 website at :
http://www.lontronics.nl/index.php?m=0006 .
This will install the files on your system .
Unzip the downloaded file into a fresh folder, and add
the needed dll's from the mentioned site, if necessary.
Your profile will be created in the K-Meleon folder by default,
without touching your older profile in the "documents" folder.
If you should get an error alert, when you restart the browser, repeat clicking once more and the alert should stop then.
New : Buttons for Adblock and NoScript added to the Privacy bar.
Features:
Adblock extension added.Thanks to CaptnBlack.
Adblock button toggles Adblock function.
Preference button opens AdblockPreferences.
Filterlist preconfigured.
Block additional images by the context menu (insert then
into the filter line).
To delete or edit a filter, middle click on the concerned
filter line, and edit the filter.
Noscript extension included. Thanks to Alain Aupeix and CaptnBlack.
NoScript button toggles NoScript,
Right click context menu for NoScript contains:
Allow javascript for this page for session, Block only for this session, <br>
Add and remove from list of allowed pages.
Block Flash, Java or Plugins from NoScript.
Note : For NoScript functions, Javascript must always be enabled
in the Preferences panel.
Active X Support can be enabled from the browser menu, but by default
only for Windows Media Player. Tools-->Privacy-->Permissions.
Note: Not all media files will work, if they cannot find a requested player model.
Try then K-Meleon 1.0.1-ax, which has no conflicts with NoScript
and AdBlock to open such streams.
Other ClassIDs can be added in defaults/prefs/activex.js,
if this is desired, but increase possibly the security risk.
Flashblock can be disabled or enabled in
Tools-->Privacy-->Permissions-->Flashblock.
Regards to all.
