K-Meleon Web Browser Forum
I use K-meleon exclusively for Yahoo mail, and shut off all images so I can read mail without ads etc.
"Notify me when I am about to open an ecrypted page"
When I uncheck the box to turn off notifications,
it still keeps notifying me, twice going in, every time I send, on so forth.
This is ONLY a W7 problem it seems since I run four other computers the same way with XP no prob.
Make sure that You as K-Meleon user have writing rights to its profiles folder.
Explicitly grant them. Else K-Meleon cannot write Your changes.
XP has no problem to grant the needed rights automatically

Please explain that, I'ver looked all through the Macros and can't find Profile,
don't use profiles on S either btw.
Not K-Meleon's menus.
Right-Click in Windows -> Change properties of folder. It is AFAIK a Win 7 glitch.
XP automatically grants writing privileges in %apdata%/K-Meleon folder.
Win 7 sometimes does not.

It's also simpler to install K-Meleon with the multi-user profiles, which cause Windows 7 to automatically grant the needed rights.
