I have been using K-meleon for several years but since 2 days, I can't read the answers when I go in a forum : The link died and the answer does not display

In fact I can only post(show) only the page of the title that I search(research) I think that the problem comes from K-Meleon and not from my computer

Are you try to clear cache, cookies or with a new profile?

So if this suddenly started two days ago, what did you do that day? Changed any setttings...? Or well possible that the webmaster changed something in his website software. Try perhaps with a fake user agent on that site, like Firefox2 or 3 or Opera on Linux :cool:
But I must say that I don't quite understand what the problem is exactly. Can it be that you simply can't login any more? Perhaps you blocked the cookie accidentally or something?

By the way you can also post in french if it gets too complicated to explain, there are other french members here who may understand better. Your english is good but I know such technical details are already difficult to describe in the own language

No, I did not try but I have the same problem with another computer with XP pro this quime reminded a bug.

Ce matin j'ai nettoyé le cache de W XP, j'ai enlevé les cookies et réinstallé K-Méléon mais si je clique sur un lien réponse dans un forum, la page ne s'affiche pas .
Pour mieux expliquer je vais mettre un lien


Quand je clique sur ce lien , j'ai bien la page qui s'affiche avec l'image mais impossible d'afficher la deuxième image

Possibily you have JavaScript disable.
Go to Tools -> Privacy -> and uncheck "Block JavaScript" option, or
View -> Toolbars -> Privacy Bar -> and uncheck JavaScript button, or
Preferences (F2) -> JavaScript -> check "Enable JavaScript" option

Both links work fine to me in K-Meleon 1.5.3.

Ah, example links are always the best!
But it works fine really, on KM154RC too, it just needs javascript as desga explained.
Perhaps you just accidentally clicked F7, which toggles javascript on-off??

Never know myself how new installations work best, but whatever you do, please make first a backup COPY of your KM profile folder, or better yet, the KM program folder too. But you said you already did a new install: Did you also try that one with a new profile? (Edit > Manage Profiles > New) To be sure that all user settings are back to default.
Perhaps, did you happen to install any new extension two days ago, like policies manager??
