Filename extension "damaged" in download

Env: KM 0.7 build 700, Asus PS5-B, K6-III/400, 384m core, W98se+Rom-II-se

I believe a similar bug may have been reported previously (see citation below). I will include another page citation which demonstrates the problem.

This may also be a Mozilla bug. It may also be incorrect html -- I use this dl script and it works fine with Netscape 4 and Internet Excluder, but that doesn't mean it's correct. I'm not html-savvy enough to judge that; maybe someone else can.

Anyway, the problem is that when downloading with some kinds of forced download scripts, KM adds an extraneous extension. To see an example, go to this page:

http://life.csu.edu.au/~lbenton/perl/scripts/dl.html

and click on "Download the script in ZIP format." The dialog box will present a default filename of dl.pl.zip.pl -- the filename should be dl.pl.zip.

This isn't a fatal or high priority bug as it's an easy matter to change the extension, but unfortunately it's one more reason that I can't (yet) use KM as a browser on the systems I set up for beginning computer users.

Admittedly this probably isn't a user that KM intends to serve, but in most cases I'm setting up older, slower machines for people who don't have much money. (Often the ^people^ are older and slower, too. <g>) They need a browser that plays nicely on a Pentium 133 or 166.

I love KM on my own machines, and it's getting closer and closer ... but for the naive user it's not quite there yet. Maybe in R0.8.

Similar bug reported here in 0.6.5:

Thanks.
