I noticed with 0.9 that when visting this page:
http://webmessenger.msn.com/
allowing popups(required) and signing in, the browser collapses.
It just vanishes, not visible on the desktop anymore, or in the systray or taskbar.
I checked and It's still showing in taskmanager.
When opening an URL from my newsreader it appears again, with all the previous layers still open.
This happens everytime I follow the same procedure as described above.
So I can reproduce this event.
Anyone else who has the same problem ? And maybe even more important: anyone else who doesn't have this problem ?

Seems to be a result of the layers catchOpen pref. Only happens in Layers Only mode.
Another K-M 0.9 disappearing trick:
Type something like 'xxx yyy' into the URL box and hit the Go button.
K-M comes up with the 'URL is not valid etc' error message then minimizes itself, presumably because it has gone in the huff with the silly user!
(This happens at least under Win 98SE and 2000)
Tried to reproduce this, but it doesn't minimize on my machine. (win98se)
I had a disappearance yesterday, the whole works went when I closed a layer. Not a mouse accident, I took all the deadly commands like "close all other layers" et al off the layer popup menu.
There was aother ill behavior too, including monstrous resource usage. Scared the petunias out of me, I thought for a minute I might have caught a worm. I was searching with Google a lot and had quite a few layers open.
