Added the following prefs to user.js:
user_pref("browser.display.use_focus_colors", true);
user_pref("browser.display.focus_text_color", "#000000");
user_pref("browser.display.focus_background_color, "#aaffff");
No matter what the background color is set to, it always remains a dark green colour - #107521. But the text colour pref seems to work okay. Very strange!
