i cant see videos on youtube with the html5 youtube player
(www.youtube.com/html5)
the youtube tells ''Your browser does not currently recognize any of the video formats available''
i have windows 2000 & k-meleon 1.6 beta2
what i have to do to work and see the videos?

Someone who know more should jump in on this one, but as far as know, you need K-Meleon 1.7a2 to do HTML as the Gecko engine for 1.7 is more advanced than the one in use for KM 1.6.xxx

Needed is a Firefox 4beta engine.
K-Meleon 1.7a is based on GRE 1.9.2.x which is not supported according to http://www.youtube.com/html5.
New Features of Firefox versions can be looked up in Wikipedia Firefox.
To me German Wikipedia seems slightly more informative on the aspect discussed here.

i have find, download, unzip and run k-meleon 1.7a but still it do not play youtube videos with html5 player. meaby i have to install something on my windows 2000 os? or it is have to do only with the gecko engine?

My bad.... KM 1.6 and 1.7 do not do HTML5, you need a different underlying Gecko engine (the equivalent of FF 4) to do HTML and KM is one generation older than that.

meaby i can replace the gecko engine with an engine that support html5 videos?

Others who know more should jump in, but the short answer is no. When FF 4 officially comes out (they are up to beta 12, so release candidates should be out shortly), then KM can look to that FF4 underlying engine. But that is down the road and not any time soon, as we are still working on the previous Gecko engine(s).
