K-Meleon Web Browser Forum
Hey, I just downloaded K-meleon, and from what I can tell so far, it's a GREAT browser. One small problem though. I'm something of a Deviantard, and when I tried to go into the chat, everything loads properly except for the area where the text is displayed. It even shows someone posted in the upper tabs when I go into multi-tab mode. Anyone know how I can fix this? Until then I can use Opera to chat with, but I'd really like to stick to this browser.
The standard solution is set menu item: Tools -> User Agent -> to Firefox 2.
If that does not help install K-Meleon 1.6beta2 (stable but en-US only) and set the user Agent to Firefox 3.x (FF 3.x is the most commonly used browser).
Reason: Pages with a version for several browsers use a browser switch.
These switches often do not sniff for feature or rendering engine & do not know K-meleon.
K-Meleon uses the same html & script engine as Firefox 2.
