i am trying to download a rar. file from rapidshare but it stopped at %86. this is the third time it stopped while downloading anything.
how can it be solved?

Not sure that's it because of K-Meleon, but you ought to try with donwloaders (Orbit for example).
I have made extensions which help in K-Meleon integration. The downloaders can resume stopped downloads.
