What's with facebook profile viewing? Characters cut off, and hyperlinks crash and freeze the browser? Is my java in need of an update?grinning smiley

I don't do Facebook myself, so I have not seen what their page displays. It may be due to the engine in the version of KM which you are using. If you are using version 1.5.4 it may help to try this beta version:

I only use Facebook for news and contests from companies. With 1.5.4, it would freeze every time. I've waited 5 minutes. With 1.6.0 b2.5, it still freezes for a few seconds, but then is usable.

Good to hear your experience with Facebook is better using beta 2.5 version. Since my prior post in this thread there has been a release of beta 2.6. The changes are small but may possibly help you. The KM 1.6.0 beta 2.6 can be found here.

I do no use Facebook so I have not tested there. I would be interested in seeing if you have a better experience with 2.6.
