I use the french last version of Kmeleon.
I get always alert : "Alert me when I go on a coded page" some thing like that.... I can remove always the cross in the box but there is no change at all. Every two pages I got the same message.
Also a similar thing when downloading. You can precise "close the windows at the end" and no memory effect for the next time. Really there are some few bugs. For example no memory of typed adresses in the bar...

Hmm, don't know, but if simply your settings aren't stored, this sounds to me much more like a win7 bug than a KM bug - somehow as if your system is forbidding KM to store anything...

Yes, this is a Windows 7 problem, similar to Vista problems with application privileges. You must check your K-Meleon Profile is in a folder with write privileges. Also is possible that you need setting K-Meleon like a trust application in Windows 7 or in your Antivirus/Firewall.

Also I change the pdf plugin of adobe by that of foxit reader. Much improvement!
