Controls with same attribute accesskey don't scroll in grid using ALT key + SHIFT key.

Ok, Soy desarrollador en ASP.NET y estoy fascinado con este Explorador.. pero encontré un detalle y es el siguiente: En IE cuando en una grilla de varios items tengo un control, por ejemplo un TEXTBOX, con un atributo accesskey=1, presionando la tecla Alt+1 va pasando de TEXTBOX en TEXTBOX permitiendo ser práctico el ingreso de datos. En K-Meleon primero para que funcione tengo que presionar Shift+Alt+1 (y esto es complicado) y lo más importante es que sólo hace foco en el último TEXTBOX.

That grid and scrolling thing is really hard to understand for me, not so much because of the language but mainly for technical reasons. If it's not too private, perhaps you can give an example URL?? That could make things a lot easier to understand and figure out. Are those alt-shortcuts perhaps created by a script on the site? Or by a IE addon? Or could another user-agent help? Or does it need gecko1.9? Or, probably very stupid suggestion, would it help to navigate with the tab key? Or... no idea...

IMPORTANT: are you trying with 1.5.4 only?
Try with 1.6.0cp4, too.
Try with the current Firefox, with Chrome, and with Opera, too - then report.

Maybe this is one of the so called "features" that
MS, as the makers of ASP .NET, chose to implement
for their own browser only? - But that's just guessing.

Is "accesskey=1" an attribute YOU assign to the FIRST TEXTBOX? So "Alt+n" jumps the cursor to the n'th TEXTBOX?

btw., trying out "Shift+Alt+1" switched my keyboard layout.

Muchas gracias SoerenB y Siria, instalé la versión K-Meleon1.6a4.7z y anduvo el scrolling (igual que en Firefox), lo último que le faltaría sería lo siguiente: cuando se hace foco con accesskey en controles de tipo checkbox además tendría que activarlos/desactivarlos según su estado. De esta forma si uno tiene que elegir varios ítems consecutivos de una grilla los puede ir marcando con las teclas de acceso directo Alt+... (esto en IE funciona bien) y de esta forma es más rápido que con el mouse.

Hola Miguel Angel, lo que nos comentas dices que funciona en IE, pero ¿en qué version de IE?.
K-Meleon 1.6.x esta basado en Gecko 1.9.1.x y por lo tanto los navegadores equivalentes son Firefox 3.5.x y Seamonkey 2.0.x.
Lo que no funcione en éstos dos, no funcionará en K-Meleon 1.6.x.

Por lo que nos comentas, si parte del problema se resolvió cuando instalaste K-Meleon 1.6.x es porque son funcionalidades del motor Gecko y seguramente lo último que indicas sobre los checkboxes no estará implementado en Gecko 1.9.1.x, tal vez lo esté en Gecko 1.9.2.x (Firefox 3.6.x), podrías probarlo con el K-Meleon 1.7.0a, pero es un alfa y no es muy recomendable aún para su uso diario.

Si tienes o conoces alguna página con la que podamos realizar las pruebas que indicas te lo agradeceríamos.

Utilizo ASP.NET 2.0 con MS-Visual Studio 2005 Pro

Excepto IE, todos tienen alguna carencia.

En IE 6.0, 8.0 éstas características funcionan bien.
