Hi,
after weeks 75.0 working - most - OK, now the start of K-Meleon breaks with the (german) message:
K-Meleon Web Browser hat ein Problem festgestellt und muss beendet werden.
(. . . has found a problem and must be ended.)
Problemsignatur (signature of problem)
MOdVer 10.0.30319.1 ModName: msvcr100.dll Offset: 00002910
(Only Avast Free AntiVir was installed as change, and is running - but: disabled, most times - already about 7 to 10 days before that start-error of K-Meleon, now.)
[A ´hmtl-5 video´ has been played still before, before XP crashed with blue-screen again, since (some) whiles, but only when online.]

Submission succeeded, The report was submitted with the number 1991. 1993.
If I would know, that I do not have to fear about the bookmarks, last session and the options-settings, I could try to install new - again -, without un-install before.

Avast may change some system files with ones of different version, for example.
Try to run (Start button -> Run) the next command:
You'll need the XP installation disk or its content copy on your hard drive
There in your profile folder are:
prefs.js - all your customized preferences
bookmarks.html - bookmarks
sessions.json - sessions info (including last one)
Backup these files.

From the crash report I can tell you're not using the final release. The problem is due to sessions but I don't have more details.
Please install the final release and try again. Send a new crash report if it still crashes.

Perhaps from NOT un-installing 74.x and installing 75 to it, but worked, until Avast, more: until this html5-video.
I have some works now. Thanks again. I´ll ´feed´ back.

Un-installed twice,
1st: without removing the settings-files.
2nd: with deleting these files, and CrashReport.exe.
Each without rebooting after un-installing.
Now un-install all. And Reboot. Install 75.0. And install CrashReport. And try again.
CrashRepost 1995.
In spite of un-installed with all settings - and reboot - the new installation offers to start with a recovery of the last session . . . still.

Does the file ´dbghelp.dll´ - left after un-installation - in ´\Programme\K-Meleon\´-folder belong to ´K-Meleon´-installation ?
You deleted your profile, and therefore the session causing the crash.
To fix the problem, I would need your "sessions.json" file, if you did keep it.

after ´html5´-video KM did not start again, not with and not without the (start-)option to start with - or without - last session recovery.
Un-installing KM - without manually deleting in ´Documents and Settings´ the folder \K-Meleon\ - did not work properly, so that from this the new installation did not solve this problem.
First deleting manually - and then the new installation - did solve this problem, now.
(I have all the copies from ´\Programs\K-Meleon\´-settings and from ´Documents and Settings\...\K-Meleon\´-folder. I hope to get back all with this.
Just have still to do, next.

There are not only the used TABs-URLs once: they are there more then double and triple.
It more looks like a log-file than saved TABs only.
So now I have to fear, when putting it to the belonging folder, this (start-)error could happen again.
If I imagine right, then the many URLs You do not need, Dorian. Is there something special, You need from this file ?, what I can send to You ?
(Perhaps the two last lines; sorry, they are not to copy easily.
They look like a log-file of my firewall Agnitum Outpost, very old version.
And CAN not belong to a sessions-file.
I think about to delete this first - into another file -, before putting it ´back´.
I think, this is very special weird.)

Bit late, but if someone in the future has startup crash probs again:
There can be many reasons, and "dbghelp.dll" can actually be one of them.
Just try if it helps to delete it.
Deleting it did help last year when my KM1.6 started crashing after installation of a newer KernelEx version. Of course, the culprit was rather this slightly buggy Kex version, but anyway, there can be compatibility probs.

While at it, IIRC another reason for startup-crashes in older KM-versions turned out the updater plugin. It checks the website, which occasionally is down, then it crashed. But guess this was fixed in newer KM-versions.

From the crash report I can tell you're not using the final release. The problem is due to sessions but I don't have more details.
Please install the final release and try again. Send a new crash report if it still crashes.
