It's probably because the server doesn't set a filetype to the link.

!try with saame extension on another server. If it works, then it should be the reason, and kmeleon won't be able to do the automatic treatment, and all the other browsers too probably.

Did you try setting it in "about:preferences" or only in the popup dialogue?

The type that causes this (seems) to be .torrent

After a few more tests some work (of this form)

http://releases.ubuntu.com/16.04/ubuntu-16.04-desktop-amd64.iso.torrent

but this from type doesn't

/torrent.php?tid=xxxxxxx

this worked in k-mel 74 (& IIRC 75) but stopped in 75.1

The URL You gave as example is accepted as automatic with my 75.1 on XP 32 Corp SP3. It is using an ancient Profile copy.

You can use a number of HTML observer addons (e.g. LiveHTML) to listen to what is communicated between browser and page.

I do not understand:

Explain please

He means the links from tvunderground. Or at least is the only site that matched that pattern.

Example:
http://tvunderground.org.ru/torrent.php?tid=116553

In other words, links that don't have a .torrent file directly linked but an ID that, then, the PHP parser sends as a file with its extension.

In 75.0 he was correctly, and does work with both type of links without problem.

Haven't tested on 75.1, sorry.

Again correct it has only just stopped working (since 75.1 upgrade)
