I have become quite accustomed to using K-Meleon 75.1 Pro for many things each day.
It has been very satisfactory in most ways and in other ways that it is not quite perfect it is easy enough to just use another of my many browsers.

Then something happened...what, I have no idea...?

Sites which have always rendered perfectly suddenly got strange, in place of their normal images there are now either blank spaces or some sort of broken image symbol.
Some sites have not only lost their images altogether - but have changed so much as to be unrecognizable - such as the weather page I use every day at=>
http://forecast.weather.gov

Other sites that have gotten very strange looking are Amazon.com, Ebay.com, and basically any site that would normally display in table form with images.

I've made exactly zero changes to the browser settings, and don't even know what to do in order to try and make things work right again.

Any guidance in this matter will be hugely appreciated.

Smth wrong with your local config (PC, OS, net settings, content blocking, maybe some added macros?)

I literally have ZERO clue how this happened, but=>

In preferences, images got set to 'off' !!!

How could something change this without me knowing about it ?!?

I haven't visited the prefs AT ALL since setting up this browser & it was fine all the time since, then, just...changed.

Very strange.

If you have the shortcuts enabled to show in menus, take a look at the privacy menu, or privbar tooltips.
