K-Meleon Web Browser Forum
This option does not make K-Meleon default browser. After using it, Windows brings "Open with..." dialog when needed to open a web page. Neither K-Meleon appears in the "choose default programs" dialog. This is under 76 RC1.
just guessing: Is there a file "profile.ini" in the KM root folder?
No.
I finally succeeded to make it default browser with a lot of manipulations that included picking the executable file manually from the Program Files (x86) folder.
