Youtube videos have a problem after 30 minutes of viewing. For example, when I watch any video, about 30 minutes after in the video, the image stops and a spinning circle appears (as if there is no connection, even though I have a good internet connection). The sound is still heard but the image does not return unless I give the video back a few minutes after which everything returns to normal. I am using KM76.2-Goanna-20200613 on operating system: Windows XP Service Pack 3. Thank you!
P.S. -- I watch the videos on Youtube at normal speed, at 360p quality, in the normal youtube window (default). Example video with this issue: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LhlompE5_is
Sorry, this is standard bug for Gecko-browsers under XP with modern video formats
Is that still the infamous 23min hickup in non-chrome browsers??
Have read the quickest workaround is to just hit the left+right arrow keys.
And have a dim memory that it was reported as fixed, but now not sure anymore.
There can be different reasons on different computers.
Someone posted awhile back this fixed his own youtube freezes:
open "about:config" page and set
layers.low-precision-buffer=true

My XP plays videos well without this bug.
I don't know, what is the reason.
