I'm looking for a Windows XP 32-bit compatible browser. K-Meleon 75.1 works fine but is there a virus?

No, that is just a false positive.
If at least there were some kind of virus name there... but just say malicious, doesn't mean anything. The reasons why it has marked that way is just unknown.
At least Jotti tells the "virus" that is that is just uses a packer, what is common on executables. Nothing to worry about:

If the most recognized engines don't mark as virus (ClamAV is actually a *nix engine) don't worry either.
If you are using Windows XP Service Pack 3, try to use the latest Goanna Build, as it has a newer engine than that version.
