I noticed that although Kmeleon is able to import my bookmarks created with IE5.5, it does not import the folder C:\windows\favorites\Links and use it as the links bar, instead it substitutes it's own (with /. Mozilla etc. on it).

i think the author mentioned somewhere that the "links" are hardcoded in this very version.
